The Norman Conquests

This score was written for an ensemble of six (virtual musicians). Harp, flute, oboe, Saxophone, cello and bassoon to represent the different characters in the play. The saxophone represented Norman as it was slightly incongruous in a conventional chamber group setting. Occasionally it jars, just like the character of Norman. This piece of music comprises the different playouts from each of the three different plays that make up The Normans Conquests trilogy of plays. ‘Table Manners’, ‘Living Together’ and ‘Round and Round the Garden.’ The cast for this production included Jane Maud, Buffy Davis and Dariel Pertwee.
