Comic Potential

This was a gift for a composer to score. There are many different elements. Actoids that create their own underscore when they get emotional, futuristic downtown seedy nightclubs, cheesy soap opera theme tunes and conventional filmic scoring that drives the action along. The part of Jacie Triplethree was created by Janie Dee. Janie was in Alan and my first full length musical together, ;Dreams form a Summerhouse'. She went on to play the role of JC333 in the West End and in the New York production. She also received three awards for her performance, an Olivier, The Evening Standard and Critics’ Circle. The West End production also featured actor and 70s heartthrob, David Soul. This score was revised for the New York production due to new staging requirements. Many of the cues were lengthened and remixed for the American audience. The track featured here is the playout from the New York production.
